During her time visiting Monroe prison, she had meaningful conversations with incarcerated men, which gave her incredible insights into the prison system and changed her perspective on justice and rehabilitation.

The library is a goldmine for learning new things—especially practical skills. Browse the “how-to” section. For example, you could pick up a book on home maintenance and learn some valuable plumbing tips. The library is a free resource that can introduce you to a variety of new skills and knowledge.
